What is the HSK?
The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is the international standard test of Mandarin Chinese proficiency for non-native speakers. Learners use it for study abroad, work, and personal goal-setting.
How many HSK levels are there?
There are six main HSK levels: HSK 1 through HSK 6. HSK 1 covers about 150 words for beginners; HSK 6 covers 5,000+ words for advanced learners who can express ideas fluently in Chinese.
What sections are on the HSK test?
